Payment Options

CPA Atlantic School of Business offers multiple payment options for students and candidates.

Please be advised that, in support of the current requirements due to COVID-19, the CPA Atlantic School of Business will no longer accept physical cheques. This temporary change will better ensure that payments are received in case of interrupted mail or courier services and allow the continuation of normal accounting processes while staff are working from home.

DOMESTIC PAYMENT OPTIONS

Making a Payment

Creating an account is simple. Get started by following the steps below:

  1. Create a Flywire account here https://cpaatlantic.myflywire.ca/ by clicking “Create New Account” and entering the required information.

  2. Verify your email address, login, and complete the required details to activate your account. Use your CPA ID for the Student I.D. field.

  3. Once logged in, you will be able to make your payment.

 

GRANTING AUTHORIZED USER ACCESS - INITIATED BY THE STUDENT

Students can set up authorized users on their payment account. Authorized users will have the ability to view and make payments. Students can follow the steps below to add an authorized user:

 

  • When logged in to your Flywire account, navigate to “Actions” → “Manage Authorized Users” in the top right corner.

  • Click “Add Authorized User”.

  • Complete the required information to add an authorized user.

  • The authorized user will receive an email with login instructions.

CPA Atlantic is pleased to announce payment for programs can now be made through Plastiq.

Using Plastiq, a third-party service provider, you can pay with MasterCard, Visa or American Express:

Go to https://request.plastiq.com/pay-cpa-atlantic-school-of-business and register with Plastiq to create an account.

​

Tell Plastiq the amount you want to pay and when you want to send it.

​

Please note that payments may take 3-5 business days to process and that a Plastiq service fee will be applied (2.85% for credit cards, 1% for debit cards).

What is Plastiq?

Plastiq is an online payment service that gives people the freedom to pay ANY bill or invoice with their favorite credit card, even if the business doesn't accept cards. By taking your card payment and sending it to the business as a check or bank transfer, Plastiq makes it easier for you to pay the way you want.

Is Plastiq secure?

Absolutely – Plastiq implements top of the line security measures to ensure the protection of both our application and your financial information. Plastiq is certified compliant to the highest level of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).

What card brands does Plastiq accept?

MasterCard, Visa, and American Express credit, debit, pre-paid or gift cards are accepted for nearly all Plastiq payments.

What is the Plastiq service fee?

Plastiq charges a small service fee so that you can enjoy the convenience of using your credit card and paying online. The fee is 2.85% for credit cards and 1% for debit cards.

INTERAC e-Transfer (EMT)

Set CPA Atlantic School of Business as a recipient by entering finance@cpaatlantic.ca as the email address you would like to transfer funds to. If you would like to include additional information to help you keep track of your payments, you have the option to do so through the memo (or remittance information) options.  All payments must include CPA ID number.

As part of our continued efforts to reduce barriers to financing, CPA Atlantic School is pleased to announce that students and candidates can take advantage of the ScotiaLine® Personal Line of Credit for Students to help finance their CPA studies. This line of credit provides applicants with a preferred rate of prime + 0.5%, as well as features like deferred principal payments (meaning while you’re studying, you can make interest only payments).

​

When applying for the loan, students should visit the "Graduate Programs" section of the Scotiabank website. When applying for the loan itself, students should indicate CPA Atlantic School of Business as being listed under "other professional schools". 

​

CPA Atlantic School of Business now part of the HigherEdPoints.com program!

Students and candidates at CPA Atlantic School of Business (CPA Atlantic) can now help fund their CPA studies by redeeming Aeroplan® Miles and TD Points for HigherEdPoints credits. Course and module fees and annual student and candidates are all eligible.

​

Students can also redeem the Aeroplan® Miles and/or TD Points of family members and friends to help pay for their studies. Anyone can donate either of these loyalty points to an individual student, you can even donate them to CPA Atlantic which can be used for students in need.

CPA Education Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPAEFNL)

The Chartered Professional Accountants' Education Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPAEFNL) is a program that provides financial assistance opportunities to students in Newfoundland and Labrador to help them succeed in their goal of becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant. This opportunity is offered specifically to students and candidates enrolled with CPA Atlantic School of Business.

As part of our continued efforts to reduce financial barriers for internationally trained accountants, CPA Atlantic School is pleased to announce that internationally designated accountants may be eligible to  take advantage of Windmill Microlending’s low-interest loans for skilled immigrants to reach their career goal of becoming a CPA.
